The 2018 season brought WPIAL Baseball fans a fantastic show with 6 teams being crowned WPIAL Champions for the first time ever. The new classification system brought programs a better chance to make their mark and take home the gold when it was all said it done in Washington, PA. Ultimately, it was Canon Mac, North Hills, South Fayette, Brownsville, North Catholic, and Vincentian that stole the show. Now the stage is set for some new programs to step up and capture the throne.
The moral of the story here is that the talent was prominent last spring throughout the Greater Pittsburgh Area, and 2019 looks to bring more of the same.
